When Clint Griffin is not volunteering at Griffin Bike Park he works at Capital Planning Systems where he has been since 2006. Before joining Capital Planning he served a two year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Dominican Republic and is fluent in Spanish. He graduated from Southern Virginia University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management with an emphasis in Finance.
Clint has been married to his wife, Melissa, since 2001 and they are the proud parents of five children.
Gene’s number one love in life, is his wife Dona, along with their four children and eight grandchildren. They have been happily married 48 years. Gene also serves people as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Everyone in his family enjoys biking. On October 27, 2009 their son, Sgt. Dale Griffin, was KIA while serving in Afghanistan. To honor their son, along with all those who have given their lives for our freedom, they founded the Griffin Bike Park in 2014 in partnership with the Vigo County Parks and Recreation Department. Since that time, they have seen a family’s loss turn into a State’s legacy. In 2019, the family formed Shepherds of Griffin Bike Park, Inc to assist the bike park in its vision to continue to be a world-class venue for the Wabash Valley and beyond. Thanks to the 1000’s of friends that have come to the park and have supported our efforts in Making a Difference
